A selection of paintings by notable artist, Cham Hedon, will be featured in a one man show at the Giampietro Gallery in New Haven, set to open June 1st. An opening reception will be held that evening from 5-8 pm.
Hedon’s thought-provoking pieces are created using a singular process developed by the artist in which he creates his own materials by altering the chemistry of acrylic paint. The artist’s work is recognized internationally and is included in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of the City of New York, The New Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Birmingham Museum of Art.
The exhibition will be on view through June 30, 2012. Giampietro Gallery is located at 315 Peck Street, New Haven CT. Visit the website for more information: www.giampietrogallery.com
